Sophie van der Berg

Sophie splits her time between Amsterdam and Wellington. She has been travelling through New Zealand for over ten years, writing about sustainable tourism, local culture and adventurous routes. After studying journalism at the University of Amsterdam, she specialised in travel literature and worked for several international travel magazines. Her passion for New Zealand began during an exchange programme in Christchurch, where she fell in love with the untouched nature and the warmth of Kiwi culture.
